Amapiano sensation DJ Azonto has demonstrated massive love for Ghana's dancehall 'King' Shatta Wale after purchasing tickets for his Akropong show.
Shatta Wale is billed to perform at Reema Lounge in Akropong on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
DJ Azonto, who is one of the invited guests, has bought a table at the show, which is estimated to cost $1 million.
According to DJ Azonto, Shatta Wale is someone he really admires and happens to be his mom's favorite artist.
So he decided to show this kind gesture to the multiple-award-winning reggae/dancehall artist who is set to thrill fans in Akropong.
"I think this kind gesture of mine should be emulated by other artists. We should support one another when it comes to shows because that is what Nigerian artists do.
"I decided to buy the whole table at the show because Shatta Wale is loved by my mom, who is also around to support him during the show," he said.
DJ Azonto is expected to hold a lavish birthday celebration for his mother, who is often known as Mama Sarah, on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
The 'Fa No Fom' hitmaker also announced his intention to open a microfinance business in October following his performance at Dr. Bawumia's NPP Rally a few weeks ago.
DJ Azonto is currently making waves with another banger, "Letter to King Paluta," which is gaining popularity.
