DJ Black unveils 'Double Side' on 'Y-Campus Xpress'

Come August 23, multiple Award winning disc jockey, and Africa’s No. 1 DJ Kwadwo Ampofo, known in showbiz as DJ Black will join Y107.9FM as a guest host of one of the station’s most listened entertainment programs, ‘Y Campus Xpress’.

The show will be broadcast live from the YFM Studio at the Accra Mall, where he will stage fun competitions including freestyle battles and karaoke while interacting and rewarding Smirnoff products to young adults.

The Smirnoff brand ambassador will also show his double side by giving listeners a feel of other talents and skills he possesses apart from what Ghanaians already know.

According to DJ Black, “This is a great way of bringing our listeners together on one platform for a wonderful radio experience. It is going to be wild as we engage in double sided fun activities and discover new talents on air.”

The show forms part of a Smirnoff Ice Double Black campaign called ‘Double Side’. The Double Side campaign is aimed at creating fun moments for young adults by giving them a platform to show a bolder side of their character that is not known to their peers. The show that will also serve the purpose of counselling audience on responsible drinking and also create a platform for discovering new talents is the first of its kind in Ghana.

Late last year, Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd, Ghana’s only total beverage company, launched a new variant of Smirnoff Ice called Smirnoff Ice Double Black and the Double side campaign is one of the many exciting campaigns planned for consumers of this brand.
