South African top DJ Divalash has congratulated Ghanaians on their successful elections for the sixth time without violence in a process that has been described as one of the most controversial tests for the country and has encouraged war thorn African countries to zoom take a cue from Ghana.
DJ Divalash who visited Ghana last October to perform at the Ghana DJ Awards event which was postponed at the eleventh hour said that her stint with Ghanaians was a refreshing experience because Ghanaians are very hospitable and she looks forward to having a greater time when she returns to the west African country upon invitation by the Ghana DJ Awards organizers to perform at the show which would come off on a yet-to-be-announced date.
“I’m excited about the atmosphere in Ghana currently because without peace I wouldn’t have the opportunity to lash Ghanaians with my skills on the wheels of steel. Secondly, Aljazeera, CNN, BBC and other agencies would have ‘good’ content from another African country; content that give the rest of the world bleak pictures from Africa”, she said ironically.
A Ghana DJ Awards nominee in the International DJ category, DJ Divalash is a South African lady battle DJ, celebrity DJ and Artist born and bred in Mabopane. As an artist, she has performed live at 2010 World
Cup funfest, The Big Brother Amplified Live Eviction Show and has been on tour in Portugal.
