DJ Switch wins discovery of the year award

Ten-year-old DJ Switch, Ghana’s youngest Disc Jockey, has won the discovery of the year award at the 2018 Ghana DJ awards.

DJ Switch, known in real life as Erica Tandoh, was nominated for three awards: Discovery of the Year, Event DJ of the Year; and Best female DJ of the Year.

DJ Switch won Talented Kids in the year 2017 and has since made a mark in the industry.

Meanwhile, host of ‘Highlife Time’ on Accra 100.5FM, Oyokodehye Kofi (Eric Owusu Gyimah), has also won the Best Highlife DJ of the Year.

He beat competition from five others.

While Ho FM’s DJ Ricky Augustine also won the best DJ in the Volta Region at the just-ended Awards.

The Ghana DJ awards was held at the Accra International Conference Centre on 5 May 2018 to celebrate DJs in the country.
