When DJ Black Coffee won the Best International Act: Africa on Saturday at the BET Awards, DJ Zinhle tweeted his name several times as a way to congratulate him. Her tweets were met with some criticism as some people saw it as her way to shade her ex and baby daddy rapper AKA who lost out to Black Coffee in the category.
“Black Coffee Black Coffee Black Coffee Black Coffee Black Coffee Black Coffee Black Coffee Black Coffee Black Coffee,” Zinhle tweeted.
“Stop disrespecting your child’s father,” one fan responded to her tweet.
“Somebody is still in love with AKA, we see u…,” responded another fan.
While some fans saw more to the tweet than what it was some fans came to Zinhle’s defence.
“Aw please leave the poor woman alone, not everything is about AKA…she’s supporting a fellow South African and a colleague,” tweeted one fan.
