The last couple of weeks have been nightmarish for the popular Ghanaian comedian, but just like any top class entertainer, he had to shrug the setback off his shoulders and get his ‘mojo’ back.
It appears Ghana’s King of Comedy, DKB has bounced back from a setback which saw him described as a boring comic by former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings – graphic.om reports.
Last time round, DKB was the lead act at a comedy show at the Accra International Conference Centre but his vulgar jokes failed to impress Nana Konadu who reportedly stormed out.
However, at the Ghana Muslim Achievers Awards things turned out differently as he was in his element.
DKB, known in his private life as Derrick Kobina Bonney was so funny he managed to bring the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the Chief Imam Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu to laughter with some classy jokes.
Indeed his performance drew the loudest applause from the pair and the entire audience, especially when he veered into some political jokes.
