It?s really amazing how events do happen in this topsy-turvy world of ours. The man has done what could best be described as unusual rather than fascinating.

Even the laws of nature and that of Great Britain could not quench the unflinching music desire of Daasebre Gyamena.

The award-winning contemporary highlife musician has released another ear blistering but a therapeutic album, which according to stakeholders in the music industry, could outshine the previous one, I am still in Love.

Many music lovers were stunned when some radio stations in the capital, started playing the danceable tune from the soft-spoken musician, apparently because of his incarceration in the English capital, London.

The song which could best be titled as "Beauty lies in the Eyes of the Beholders" has since been released onto the market by the award-winning distributor, Big Ben Music Production. It was produced by Fred Nuamah for Stick Entertainment.

What amazes music enthusiasts are the circumstances under which the songs were recorded in Ghana by Sugartone (the music engineer).

Until his arrest mid-last year, Daasebre Ahoofe Gyamena was one of the hottest and sought-after musicians in the country. He has released several hit albums including the all-time Kokooko, which also featured the rap maestro, Lord Kenya, Ahoofe, U Can't Touch Me and Obaa.

Daasebre Gyamena stormed the music industry in the country in 1999 when he released his second and one of the most successful albums in his music career, 'Kokooko'.

Since joining the industry about a decade ago, Daasebre Ahoofe Gyamena has won a considerable number of awards at Ghana?s most prestigious event, Ghana Music Awards at the National Theatre.

Some of them include Best Contemporary Highlife Song, Best Contemporary Album, Best Contemporary Highlife Artiste, Over All Best Album, Best Male Vocal Performance, Best Song Writer, etc.

Daasebre Gyamena, however, sad it may be, is currently languishing in London cells, awaiting trial for peddling in narcotic drugs.
