After recent reports that veteran presenter Daddy Bosco had left the Multimedia network for good, NEWS-ONE can confirm that he has taken on a consultancy job with the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).

NEWS-ONE, in a quest to confirm the precise role Daddy Bosco plays at MUSIGA, caught up with him and put the question straight to him.

“Actually, I am doing some work with MUSIGA and we have a few targets to meet so we are working on achieving those targets…I am assisting the administration to do some form of restricting and also to basically further the President’s agenda of achieving his ‘ADJUMAPA’ goal.

“When Obour came to office, he came with a manifesto and we are figuring out how best to achieve that goal, that dream, that agenda,” Daddy Bosco explained.

He said Obour’s dreams were very achievable and that “all it takes is to put the right plans and mechanisms to achieve them. They are very realistic and relevant dreams we must all support.

For instance, the dream of putting money into the pocket of musicians, the dream of ensuring that the aged artistes in the fraternity are taken care of. These are laudable and if you have the right assistance and structures, you can achieve them within a period of time.”

Bosco has over the years distinguished himself as an astute broadcast journalist who has championed the promotion of the dancehall, reggae and ragga music in Ghana.**
