Daddy Lumba lauds Great Ampong

Highlife veteran Charles Kwadwo Ofosu popularly known as Daddy Lumba has eulogized the talented gospel act, Ampong as his best-loved gospel musician in Ghana.

The Highlife legend revealed this in an interview on Atinka FM Wednesday, describing Ampong as a humble musician.

According to Lumba, the reason why he chose Ampong to do gospel collaboration with was how exceptional and gifted he was among other gospel singers.

“I have been following Ampong for a long time, hence, my decision to do a collaboration and he happens to be my favorite gospel singer in Ghana.”

The new group ‘Kwadwo Kwadwo’ is set to release a series of songs before dropping an album.

Lumba further revealed that he is gearing up to launch the album along with his birthday bash on October 3rd at the National Theatre.

Daddy Lumba is not new in gospel scene though he is one of the legends in the secular music.
