Afro-pop and Hip-hop artist, Dagaow, is set to storm the Ghanaian music industry with another single titled “Close Marking”.
The song, which features singer Atumpan, is an Afro-pop music piece composed with a combination of the Ghanaian broken English (Pidgin English), English and Dagari.
“Close marking”, a love song which talks about a guy yearning for a lady’s love, is a very danceable and melodious track suitable for every occasion.
In an interview, Dagaow disclosed that the song was reserved in order to be released this month, because Christmas is the season of love, “I think this is the month of love and Close Marking will aid people to demonstrate their love for each other”.
Close Marking was recorded in the UK and production credit for the masterpiece goes to UK based Ghanaian sound engineer, Yess Rudeboi.
The release of this song makes it a total of five singles released this year by the Afro-pop and hip-hop artist.
The five singles include his hit song “Check Point” which features Zeal, of legendary music group VVIP.
Dagaow has also shot three music videos, one in the UK and two in Ghana and has toured the UK, precisely Cambridge and London.
The artist this year has made several performances, including the “Salafest” event.
On the issue of love portrayed in his current single, Dagaow also made a passionate appeal to people to show more love for the needy, especially orphans and the weak.
“As we celebrate this Christmas, I think we should reflect upon the plight of the needy ones and especially those in orphanages”.
Dagaow has promised fans a thrilling 2018 as he hopes to release more songs to entertain them.
