The Israeli embassy has set the 12th, 13th and 14th of December 2013 as the dates for its first film festival to be held in Ghana. This was contained in a statement released by the embassy.
The free-to-attend film festival, to be held at the Silverbird Cinemas, will showcase unique aspects of the Israeli culture and will also give Ghanaians the opportunity to meet and interact with Israelis while offering them a window into the fabric that waves the Israeli society.
This year’s film festival will also show award-winning classic Israeli movies which ranges from action, thriller, comedy and romance.
Some of the movies to be screened include Footnote – which narrates the tale of a great rivalry between a father and son who have dedicated their lives to their work in Talmudic Studies; 5 hours from Paris, Columbian Love, among others.
