You might have enjoyed Daughters of Glorious Jesus’ song “Enne Manya Anigye” but did you know that Tagoe Sisters are claiming ownership of the hit song?

The twin sisters after keeping mute for many years have alleged on Accra FM that the group made up of three women, Monica, Edna and Cynthia, illegally recorded the song.

According to the sisters, Lydia Dedei Yawson and Elizabeth Korkoi Tagoe, the song “Enne Manya Anigye” was given to them by Advent Trust for their album but before they could use it, the gospel trio had released the song.

“We used to travel with Advent Trust for a crusade and other jobs. After we released “Nyame Ye Kese” on our album, we were waiting to record “Enne Manya Anigye” on our next album but when we realised, they had used it on their album but we did not have any problem with it because we are using it for the work of God”.

Tagoe Sisters continued that Daughters of Glorious Jesus left out many lines in the song because they did not know all the lyrics of the song.

When Andy Favoured, host of Gospel 360 on Accra FM asked them if Daughters of Glorious Jesus informed them before recording the song, they answered that “we didn’t know anything about. All we heard was that it was gaining airplay.

Efforts to reach Daughters of Glorious Jesus to react to this allegation have proved futile.
