Dear GhanaWeb,
For three years, my wife Isabella stopped fulfilling her marital duties. I cannot recall cheating or doing anything contrary to being a good husband that would have led her to act that way.
Eventually, she left the house, and I have been living alone for a year and some months now. I hoped she would call to check on the children, but she never did.
Loneliness consumed me, and I had been deprived of intimacy for years, so I broke my wedding vows and took a girlfriend.
I never hid my girlfriend from my wife. I shared every moment we spent together on my WhatsApp status, and my wife always viewed them.
As she viewed my status, she grew jealous, and after years of silence, she finally called me.
The calls became regular, and sometimes she came home to cook, care for the children, and then returned to her own place.
One day, she admitted her mistake and expressed a desire to pick up where we left off.
Her reasons for her actions seem weak, and I am hurt by what she put me through.
I still love her but am unsure whether to continue punishing her with my side chick or let it go.
What should I do?
