Dear GhanaWeb: I helped a ghost and I have been urinating on my bed constantly

Dear GhanaWeb,

Two years ago, I was driving past a cemetery, and I didn’t even know there was a cemetery there until later.

But while I drove past the place, I met a woman carrying a baby. The baby was small, barely a month old. They were clothed in white and walking towards the end of the road.

It was dark and lonely, I felt like helping so I stopped and asked where they were headed but the woman pointed ahead and smiled.

I asked her to hop in and drove them towards the direction she pointed. She barely said anything until we got to almost the end of the road and she said one word, “here” and then I stopped.

She alighted, but she didn’t even say ‘thank you’ or any other word and walked back in the direction from which we came. It felt weird and I was so scared.

In fact, her looks were scary and I was amazed a woman carrying such a tiny baby would be out that late. She wouldn’t speak and didn’t even say thank you. It was scary.

Another thing I noticed was she held the baby in the same position throughout and I barely saw the baby move. I kept my light on just to see them properly but I barely saw her face, just her body and the baby’s back.

After that night, I’ve constantly urinated on my bed. I mean, I soil myself in my sleep. Not a day has gone by and I don’t wake up all wet, even last night. So I have to lay a rubber under my bed every day. I was supposed to marry last year but I’m still waiting because I want to treat this first.

I traced it back to the woman. I was introduced to a Mallam and he gave me directions. The man said the woman was a ghost and maybe I wasn’t supposed to see her. I’ve done all that the mallam asked me to do but it’s not stopping.

I want to look elsewhere because I’ve been to so many places, yet I’m still urinating on my bed like some baby. If I could recall correctly, I didn’t do anything bad to the woman, so why is this happening?

Even if she’s a ghost, I wasn’t the one who killed her so why would she bring this to me? I was just helping a helpless woman, that’s all. Could it be true that she’s the one who did this to me?

This is actually getting out of hand and I need help. What should I do now?
