Dear GhanaWeb,

My partner has graciously accepted my past, including my child from a previous relationship. Her dedication to motherhood surpasses even that of my child's biological mother, which is something I deeply cherish.

She's truly a wonderful person, yet her extravagant spending is concerning.

As a business owner, I show my gratitude for her nurturing role by providing her with a GH¢ 5,000 monthly allowance, along with GH¢ 2,000 for shopping.

I take full responsibility for utilities and groceries, so her complaints about insufficient funds are baffling to me.

Despite this, she shows no interest in employment, preferring instead to stay home and indulge in frivolous purchases.

With her degree in Communication Studies, I've attempted to facilitate her employment at reputable firms to enhance her earnings, but she's declined every proposal.

I'm at a crossroads. My reluctance to end the relationship stems from her exceptional care for my son, a rarity to find.

I'm seeking advice on how to proceed.
