Dear GhanaWeb,

I'm a twenty-six-year-old woman who is a virgin and eager to get married. I've watched most of my friends tie the knot while I struggle to find a stable relationship.

I was in a year-long relationship with a man I loved deeply. He never pressured me into sex because I made it clear I wanted to wait until marriage, and he respected that.

We were happy together, and he took great care of me. But one day, he told me he was tired of feeling single and didn’t want to cheat on me.

He said if I wasn’t ready to have sex, we should break up. After thinking it over, I realised he wasn’t the right person for me, so I chose to move on.

Eventually, I met a wealthy man who asked me to be his girlfriend. I agreed, and three months into our relationship, he expressed his desire to marry me and asked to meet my parents. I was thrilled at the thought of finally getting married.

Despite his wealth, he doesn’t spend as much on me as my ex did, but that didn’t bother me. I was focused on the idea of getting married.

However, things took a turn when he started touching me in ways that made me uncomfortable. When I asked him to stop, he claimed that since he would be my husband soon, I should allow him to break my virginity.

Initially, I considered just giving in, but after reflecting at home, I realised I’d rather share that part of myself with my ex, who had always treated me well.

A few days later, my ex unexpectedly showed up at my house, asking me to reconsider our relationship.

I still have feelings for him, but I’m also involved with someone who wants to marry me, even if I don’t feel the same way.

Now I’m confused. Should I take my ex back, or should I go ahead and let my current boyfriend take my virginity?

What if he doesn’t marry me afterward? I really need advice on what to do next.
