Deborah Vanessa set to release 'Sampana' on April 1

Singer Deborah Owusu-Bonsu, known publicly as Sister Derbie/ Deborah Vanessa, is set to release a new song on April 1.

Titled Sampana, the song features boyfriend and rapper Medikal, and follows highly successful offerings as Borla and Ghana Jollof.

Her 2012 anthem Uncle Obama (a song about wanting to give one Mr Obama’s banana to her monkey) won her international acclaim, and an appearance on CNN.

Sister of controversial rapper Wanlov, Deborah Vanessa is also regularly involved in broadcasting, modelling, academia and graphic design.
