After trending on social media for days following her recent interview with Ghanaian businessman Richard Nii Armah Quaye over his divorce saga, media personality Delay has responded to the criticisms.

It may be recalled that Deloris Frimpong-Manso, popularly known as Delay, recently conducted an interview with RNAQ, where discussions centred on his love life and ongoing divorce case with his ex-wife, Joana Coffie.

Following the interview, some netizens took to social media to lambast Delay, claiming that the interview did not meet expectations or her usual standards.

RNAQ’s lawyers reply ex-wife over abuse and business ownership claims

Some online users went further to allege that the media personality had taken money from the businessman, suggesting that her line of questioning was deliberately aimed at discrediting allegations made by RNAQ’s ex-wife.

In a recent development, Delay took to X to respond to some of the criticisms.

In one post, a user noted that RNAQ’s claims do not add up and suggested that Delay should also interview his ex-wife.

“His stories never add up. Delay should interview his ex, too, and let’s see.

“Oh, I think her questions are sometimes shallow, but I don’t think she’d show bias even if she has one. Should she bring Joana on, it would be too obvious,” the user noted.

Responding to the tweet, Delay fired back, suggesting that critics should conduct their own interviews if they believe they can do a better job.

“We should come on a show with shallow questions? Since you’re a better presenter, maybe you should interview her yourself!

“I don’t ask questions for myself. Thanks,” she said.
