More information has emerged regarding Ohemaa Mercy’s former road manager and marketer, Kwaku Osei Krankye Asiedu, popularly known as ‘KOKA.’

Earlier in a recent press statement shared on social media, the gospel musician disclosed that she and her team reported threats against her life made by KOKA, which to led to his arrest.

However, during the court proceedings, additional details about KOKA's arrest were revealed.

According to an Angel FM report, it was stated in court that KOKA had consistently threatened Ohemaa Mercy on social media and behind the scenes.

He allegedly threatened to send thugs after her for refusing to pay GH¢8,500 he claimed she owed him.

KOKA had been working with Ohemaa Mercy since 2021 but recently stopped due to claims that she had taken on projects without involving him.

Following this, he demanded immediate payment of the outstanding GH¢8,500.

Ohemaa Mercy, however, was reluctant to settle the debt, prompting a series of threatening posts from KOKA.

In court, it was revealed that KOKA had given Ohemaa Mercy a deadline to pay the money or he would send thugs after her, prompting her to file a complaint with the police.

Following that, the police made several attempts to invite KOKA for questioning, but he refused to cooperate until he was apprehended at Afrikiko in Accra.

During his court submissions, KOKA stated that he only intended to retrieve his money and had no intention of causing harm.

He has pleaded not guilty to charges of threatening harm and has been remanded until September 26, 2024.
