Fri, 13 Jul 2007 Source: ghanamusic.com

Dickee Dee is one of the most firmly grounded voices you may ever encounter. Incorporating influences from hiplife, raglife and dancehall, he creates a solid foundation with a soulful and sexy voice.

Dickee is finally set to release “Bome Nnwom No Biom”, his long-awaited album to mark his return to the Ghanaian music industry with his new management, Akwaaba Entertainment Incorporated and D Klan group.

Dickie Dee’s latest smash album, ‘Bome Nnwom No Biom’ has started with a big buzz in the states already and Ghanaians are yet to experience it. But don’t worry fans of Dickie. He will be unleashing two blazing songs onto the Ghanaian music scene that radio stations would love to play it over and over again.

Dickie Dee needs no introduction, since he has entered the Ghanaian music scene before but had to go back to the lab and do a few touches on his album.

Consistent encouragement from the various soundmen and engineers has made Dickie Dee do a new good album. So why don’t you be at the launch on 28th July if you are in the States or grab a copy worldwide in any music shop after the release.

Ghana Music.com: Why has it taken so long to release your album?

Dickie Dee: The album was supposed to be released last year but delayed to this year due to management problems. Now am on a new management now and they decided that we release it this year. Also, they wanted the best sound quality for the tracks so they decided to re-master the whole tracks.

Ghana Music.com: What again is new about the album?

Dickie Dee: I have added two more bonus tracks on the album to apologize to the fans for the delay. So now they will be enjoying 18 hit tracks instead of 16.

Ghana Music.com: Anything your fans and Ghanaians should watch out for?

Dickie Dee: Fans of Ghana music are going to experience nothing but the best on this album. I have really worked hard on this album including the D Klan and my new management, Akwaaba Entertainment Incorporated. The beats are hot and the lyrics are tight.

Ghana Music.com: What am I in for if I pin my ears to the yet-to-be-released album?

Dickie Dee: If you enjoy listening to good music, I mean real good music that makes u wanna dance even when you are in a bad mood, a good music that makes u relax in everything that you do, then “Bome Nnwom No Biom” is an album you cannot miss to buy. As u can tell from the album title, “Bome Nnyom No Biom” means “Play Me The Song Again”. You cannot play any track on the album once. Once you play a track to an audience, they would request for a repetition. The tracks on this album were produced in a way that will suit all music genres. Everybody can get ‘jiggy’ with it.

Ghana Music.com: Please dwell more on the album itself?

Dickie Dee: “Bome Nnyom No Biom” is a raglife, hiplife and dancehall album. It has 18 banging tracks. Some of the tracks on the album are ‘Ante Ama’, ‘Fer.. uu.. ck uu..’, ‘Sweetie Yensa’, ‘Move ya body’, ‘Why’, ‘Bome Nnyom no biom’ and many more.

Ghana Music.com: Now the album is all set. When is the launching?

Dickie Dee: I am launching the album here in the States because this is where am based plus you know I have lots of fans here too. The launch will take place on July 28th at Mayorga on the Ave in Silver Spring Maryland.

Ghana Music.com: After the launch, what next?

Dickee Dee: After the launch I will be coming to Ghana with the D Klan and my new management to promote it too.

Ghana Music.com: Who’s the man behind the whole project?

Dickie Dee: The new producer is Nana Larbi a.k.a Biggie and the engineer is John Dee , who produced most of the tracks of Shasha Marley, Nat Brew, Obour, Babashanti, Blaise Tangelo from Uganda , Bosco of Pureafricanz and more.

Ghana Music.com: So far, what has happened?

Dickie Dee: We have released two singles down here in the States and have already started winning the hearts of many fans here. Most of the DJ’s and reggae clubs down here have copies of the single which they play all the time and I have also started doing some shows as well as to promote.

Ghana Music.com: What is going on down here with the album?

Dickie Dee: We have a good PRO in Ghana who is handling everything on our behalf. We will be releasing two singles in Ghana this month.

Ghana Music.com: Final words?
