The General Overseer of Holiness of Christ Zion Ministry, Emmanuel Akwasi, also known as Prophet Ogyaba, has defended his colleague, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, regarding LilWin's accident.
Prophet Ogyaba asserted that Adom Kyei-Duah is not to blame for LilWin's accident, which tragically led to the death of 3-year-old Tawiah Ampomah.
He argued that, despite LilWin being a member of Kyei-Duah's church, the accident was not influenced by the clergyman, contrary to some claims.
During an Instagram live session, Prophet Ogyaba emphasized that both LilWin and the father of the deceased child bear responsibility for the tragic event.
"Separate Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah from the issues surrounding LilWin's accident. Stay objective in your evaluations, regardless of personal sentiments towards him. It is rumored that LilWin is affiliated with the pastor's church, but did Adom Kyei-Duah instruct LilWin to speed or drive recklessly like in 'Fast and Furious'? Absolutely not.
"Hence, disliking the pastor should not lead to blaming him for any incidents. In this accident, both LilWin and the father of the deceased child broke the law," he clarified.
LilWin was taken into police custody on Monday, June 3, 2024, after being discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
He has since been granted bail of GH¢50,000, with the case adjourned to June 27, 2024.
