Flowking Stone on Friday released a single titled, ‘Beast’ which talks about the state of rap in Ghana highlighting his rap prowess.

Produced by Tubani Music, the hip-hop tune which was released concurrently with its Prince Dovlo-directed video is well woven with proverbs, wordplay, punch lines and other dexterities Flowking Stone is known to possess.

As abrantepa.com deciphers the lyrics, notice was taken of some thought-provoking lines, leaving us to wonder if they were subtle jabs at perceived ‘rival’ Sarkodie.

‘Since I came back, they don’t rap no more

Of course you don’t want make the rap god bore

Enough of the crap real rap on the floor

Flowking Stone never stop; give me more”

Where is the link?

It would be recalled that Sarkodie in his ‘Take It Back’ produced by Magnom Beatz and MikeMillzOnEm said he no longer raps.

“Just so you know I don’t rap no more’ I say things I see…”

So, was it really a jab or a general statement?

Over to you!
