Both men and women love, look and feel good, however, women can be said to be a bit more beauty conscious.

Obviously, they never miss adding some new products to their beauty cabinet/regime. Some women cannot imagine facing the day without makeup on their faces.

In extreme cases, women won't even allow anyone to see them without their faces made up for the day, including their husbands.

Fortunately, this isn't very common, but a good number of women report feeling more confident going to work, school or running errands with some makeup on.

This can range from a light application of mascara and lip gloss to one complete with foundation, powder, blush, eyeliner, eye shadow and several coats of lipstick.

The amount of makeup that makes a woman feel confident varies.

To some, the most important consideration is the brand of the makeup they wear, that is a top-most priority. For such people, makeup kit or product without a celebrated name is dangerous to use especially when one does not know the ingredients used in its preparation. The threat of damaged facial skin with its attendant spots, dry skin and sandpaper skin can be anything but funny.

Notable names in the cosmetic world include Revlon, Oriflame, Maybelline, Avon, L’oreal group, Mary Kay, Black Secret while not forgetting Clinique, NYX and Christian Dior. Products from such manufacturers although in high demand command not less than GHC 25.

Some beauty therapists have also advised women to use a branded makeup as it's safer to wear a well-known makeup even though it can be costly to wearing a cheap one with attendant health complications.

So what do you reckon, do you wear only designer makeup or anything which makes you feel good?
