Self-acclaimed dancehall King Shatta Wale reacting to Stonebwoy’s collaboration with multiple American artiste Trey Songz says Ghanaian musicians shouldn’t do collaborations purposely for hyping or to spite colleagues in the industry but only for money purposes.
Feeling boastful about the number of bigger artistes he has collaborated with such as Alkaline and others in an interview with Sammy Flex on Pluzz FM, he explained doing music is all about money and business.
“I have recorded with Da Vinci, Alkaline and many others...Aside God who, money is our second body guard who makes sure u are ok. So if am going to do it, I do it for money but not for hype …”, he added.
Meanwhile, in other news, multi-award winning American music star Trey Songz has described Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, as the "king" of dancehall music in Ghana.
