Don’t rush to come out with albums - Daughters of Glorious Jesus

Gospel trio - Daughters of Glorious Jesus - have cautioned gospel musicians not to rush in coming out with albums.

Speaking to Giovanni on Starr Drive Tuesday, Cynthia - a member of the trio - said rushing through an album does not produce the best.

“As a gospel musician you don’t rush, you don’t have to allow yourself to be pressurised by people to come out with an album, you take your time, pray for God’s direction and you come out. We are currently working on an album, as you know we don’t rush to come out with albums, we take our time to work and those who buy our songs know it has a message and touches lives,” she said.

The trio - Cynthia, Edna and Monica - who were consecrated and ordained as pastors on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries International said: “Through our music we are winning souls, touching lives and bringing people to the kingdom of God and our bishop felt the need for us to be consecrated as Pastors and this is not going to change anything about us.

“The Lord is just taking us from one dimension to another dimension and we still remain Daughters of Glorious Jesus”.

Gospel musicians who were at the event to support their colleagues were Uncle Ato, Willie and Mike, Mary Ghansah among others.

Daughters of Glorious Jesus is best remembered for songs like Wo Ntaban, Aseda Ben, Yesu Mo and many others.
