Double Dee Straight out of Toronto comes two young brothers, Double Dee who took the hiplife scene to the next level in 2003 with their debut album Yabreemo.

Double Dee the name came out of the first letter if ther first name Dennis Asante (Big-OJ) and Daniel Wiredu (Odiefour Daniel), when they first met in a hood called Rexdale, they were both rappers from a diffrent rap group, they liked each other's style so much that after their groups fell apart they decided to come together and form double dee, and the the hiplife music by storm.

In 2003 Ghana's hiplife scene experienced the best album of the year, Double Dee released Yabreemo and got their fellow musicians shocked, the album contained 10 banging tracks with the hit single "Mo
Feeli", the video for this track was shot in Toronto (Rexdale) and the clip was a good one, in an interview with the group "Big OJ" said we did everything ourselves, we produced all these tracks, no one was willing to help so me and my man "OD4" decided to drop this album on W.A.R Records"

They were ask what does W.A.R Records means and Odiefour quickly answered it means "we are ready" ready for everything and I mean everthing". W.A.R Records is based in Toronto but also has a branch in Accra, Ghana.

Double Dee came in 2nd place on ghanatoday's survey about "who is the best new rapper". In Ghana, they are regarded as coming out with a "new breed of hiplife", they gave us hot tracks on their first album but can they do it again, they group is currently in the studio recording their new album "Mo Ntie".

To my understanding, this album is 10 times better than the first album. It contains tracks like, Sokoo which talks about girls and how to keep them by spending on them, Krohinkro talks about the hiplife game and big's up the leaders of the game.

Obibasuoo is a soloku song for all the party people, all the tracks on this album are potential hits, I was lucky and I got to listen to a sample of the album and believe me you ain't heared nothing yet, Double Dee said this album will definatly take them to the books and will get them the award they deserve.
