Isaac Duncan Williams popularly known as Dr. Duncan is one of the pioneer presenters of Adom 106.3 FM in Tema. He is recognized quickly with his funny slogans like “Brothers Brothers”, “Selein”, “Wo Masa Wo Mistress” and currently his new term for good bye “?kyirei”.
Dr. Duncan has been working with Adom Media Limited, a subsidiary of Multimedia Broadcasting Company for the past seven (7) years and can boast of producing the first jingle for the station (Adom FM).
He started with the likes of Yaw Nkrumah (Adwuma Wura), Appiah Kubi now in the United States, Daddy Bosco and Akumaa Mama Zimbey.
Dr. Duncan becoming a radio presenter is not a surprise to those who knew him at Ghana Secondary Technical School (G.S.T.S) in Takoradi.
He was the entertainment prefect for G.S.T.S and to him that was where he gained his stage craft. He has emceed a lot of shows in Accra and beyond.
After his secondary education, he undertook professional courses in Business Skills, Computer Hardware, Marketing, Event and Promotions Management.
A jingle he did for Adom FM landed him with this radio job instead of taking monetary compensation from the then General Manager & Director of Programs, Samuel Ata Mensah currently General Manager of Citi FM. All this was at the instance of Daddy Bosco convincing the GM of the soothing and cool voice of Dr. Duncan.
He started the midmorning program “Work and Happiness” and later handed over to Adwuma Wura when he was assigned to do all the weekend programs and commercials.
He went for training at DW-TV in Berlin and is back to handle his program again. This time has taken it to a different height.
He is the host of the midmorning show; “Work and Happiness” from Monday to Friday which is heavily produced by Papa Bills and his award winning program “Kasahare Level” every Saturday evening from 6:30 p.m to 10 p.m.
Kasahare Level on Adom FM has helped groom guys like the late Terry Bonchaka, Pope Skinny, Reggie Zippy, Shankoma, Sarkodie, Dr Crime and many others.
Aside radio presenting, Dr. Duncan is the Chief Executive Officer of Duncwills Entertainment and has a car sticker promotion coming up to help curb accidents on our roads.
Written on the sticker are “Move With Care” and the “?kyirei” branded T-shirts will be shared during his program on radio.
He is currently married to a sweet lady who works with one of the Embassies in Ghana and according to reliable source loves and adores her so much.
