Dr Poh Bounces Onto The Music Scene

Dr. Poh Over the last few years, not a single week passes without one young artiste announcing himself/herself onto the local hiplife scene. The most striking feature about these new entrants is their ability to make great impacts with their brand of music.

The latest to announce himself in style and with a big bang onto the scene is Richard Assuming, known in showbiz circles as Dr. Poh. With the awarding winning recording engineer Jay Q as the Executive Producer, Dr. Poh is presently out with his maiden album entitled ?Na Who??

While several musicians become popular and reach stardom after several years in the business and releasing lots of album, Dr. Poh, has already become a household name and hit the road to stardom just with the release of the maiden album.

Presently, Na Who? is receiving massive radio airplay across the country while anxious listeners and music lovers have started looking for copies to buy from music shops. Some of the other fascinating and danceable tracks on the album which are likely to top the nation?s musical charts include ?Maame Serwaa?, ?Suma Jolley?, ?Nipa Nye?, ?Me Na Wope?, ?Embo Hu? and ?Wenya Me Foo?.

Before coming out with his own album Dr. Poh, a product of Fadama JSS and Goshen Secondary School was in the former Abrempong group with other young guys including Obrafour and had also featured for other prolific artistes like Nana Quame and Obrafour himself. The new album, which has matured lyrics, splendid instrumentation and rhythms is expected to be launched at Konongo in the Ashanti Region soon. The launch will attract musicians like K.K. Fosu, Skinny, Buk Bak, 4x4, Castro among others.

Some of the artistes who featured on the Na Who? albums include Obrafour, K.K. Fosu, Castro, Skinny and many more. Meanwhile, Dr. Poh is expected to storm Takoradi, this weekend with other prolific artistes to perform at the 2nd anniversary bash of Good News FM.
