A 78-year-old pensioner who requested for money from President Kufuor to start livestock farming is accusing the Central regional Organiser of the NPP, Alhaji Gibrine of deception.

Mr Peter Kweku Amissah who attracted copious attention when he made the request during the last People?s Assembly held in Cape Coast said he suspected Alhaji Gibrine of not being sincere.

According to Mr Amissah he only received four nanny goats, one of which was unhealthy.

He thanked the President for the donation but said two of the animals are dead and one is sick.

Mr Amissah who said he had conducted his own investigations indicate that the President?s gifts should have come with an amount of ?5 million which he suspects has been diverted.

Reacting Alhaji Gibrine said the third Vice Chairman of the NPP donated ?1.5 million for the purchase of the goats.

He said he bought the four goats for ?1.5 million with an outstanding balance of ?350,000 which he said would be used for a Billy goat to mate with the nanny goats.

According to Mr Gibrine when he handed over the goats, he asked Mr Amissah to report to him the situation of the goats.

He said Mr Amissah informed him a week after that one of the goats was unwell, so he gave him ?10,000 to sent it to a veterinary clinic.

Alhaji Gibrine said he was not aware two of the goats had died.
