Accra, Aug. 24, GNA - A driver's mate who bit off the right ear of a fellow mate, appeared before an Accra Circuit court on Monday charged for causing harm. Kwabena Outa, 19, pleaded not guilty to unlawfully and intentionally causing harm to Kwaku Marfo. The court presided over by Mr D.E.K. Dakesey granted Outa bail to the tune of 1,000 Ghana cedis with a surety to reappear on September 17. According to the prosecutor, Chief Inspector Johnson K. Anim, in April this year, there was an argument between Outa and Marfo at Darkuman Lorry Station at CMB in Accra over the loading of their respective vehicles which resulted in a fight. He said during the fight, Outa bit off Marfo's right ear and people around arrested him and sent him to the police station.
