It appears actor cum politician, John Dumelo, has won the hearts of a large section of Ghanaian youth as they believe so much in his political ambition.
The award-winning actor since declaring his intention to be part of the political race has weaved his way into the hearts of youngsters who say they are motivated by John Dumelo.
He is noted for having frequent conversations with his followers on his social media handle on development agendas to move the country forward.
In one of the many interactions, one follower with Twitter handle @good_vibe_since wrote, “We need a representative for the youth and you’re just the right person. just give it a try and you will make a history in this country as an independent candidate. I woke up this morning looking at what we are facing as a country so I decided to share this with you @johndumelo1”
“If @johndumelo1 stand for president as an independent candidate, he is going to be a threat to NDC and NPP but it’s sad he can’t betray his beloved NDC... they say politicians are sweet when they want power but I believe this man has something for the youth.”
@narkiebae who seem to have lost faith in both NDC and NPP said, “If my vote dey campus anka I go vote give this guy not because of his party, but because it’s “Dumelo” And hope he makes the difference we all need. Na this two political parties dier agye Nyame.”
She added, “I’m rooting for him to do well. So we can advance to presidency. The old people dey stress we too much.”

John Dumelo is taking up the race to parliament, standing in as representative for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) banner.
According to him, “it is high time to listen and serve the interest of the people by “taking actions and getting results.”
While calling for change he has called on the public to rally behind him in the coming 2020 polls.
