Some hours after Ghanaian actor Abraham Attah won the Best Male Lead at the 31st Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Art, Hon Dzifa Gomashie, on behalf of the incumbent government headed by President John Mahama, has sent a congratulatory message to the ‘Beasts of No Nation’ actor.

On her ever busy Facebook wall, Hon. Dzifa has congratulated great Ghanaian talents such as; Bolie and Reggio, Rocky Dawuni, and other Ghanaians who are lifting high the flag of Ghana on international stages.

On Abraham Attah’s feat, the Hon Minister took to her Facebook wall and posted as below:

“As a producer and lover of young people in the arts, I am excited about the international recognition that your ward Abraham Atta continues to gain. I am very proud of him.”

Representing a ministry which was set up the current President of Ghana, Madam Gomashie disclosed how the President feels about our great talents who are selling the brand Ghana. She continued:

“President John Mahama too is very proud of the momentous achievements of this young man, Bolie and Reggio, Rocky Dawuni and other Ghanaians who are lifting high the flag high on the international stage.

“We congratulate him and wish to assure him of our support in his young acting career. I will grateful if you can arrange for me to host him and his family to a special Dinner upon his return.

“We will discuss his future and how he can use his individual achievements to support the Creative Arts sector in Ghana. Very Proud of Him.

Ending, she re-emphasized;
