Dzin Pa Cultural Troupe is a young but famous troupe that performs so well that one cannot afford to miss its show, ?Dzin Pa?, meaning ?good name? in Fante, has already achieved its literal meaning.

Dzin Pa was set up three years ago by Molly Agyemang Duah with six girls, four boys and Nana Kyereamnteng, a consultant as the group?s leader.

They started humbly with kete (Adowa) and kpanlogo and performed at funerals and other social gatherings. Now they have over 30 dancers, drummers, singers, guitarists and other artistes like Koobi Aware and Ayisoba with his northern style of performance.

Dzin Pa now performs almost all the traditional dances during state functions at the State House and Conference Centre. There are other occasions that they blend their show with performances by the highlife and hiplife artistes like Amandze Nat Brew of Wobge Dzeke fame, Nana Tuffour, Bob Pinodo, the late Kiki Gyan, Obour and Christie Randolph of Nigeria with the help of Mr Ebo Hawkson, Captain Newman, Obiba Sly Collins and her numerous sponsors.

When Molly, the founder, was interviewed about whether the group has plans performing outside the country she said yes. She even said some of the artistes will be traveling with Amandzeba Nat Brew to Switzerland to perform with his band on Wogbe Dzeke which also has a historical and cultural group.

Amandzeba chose the group because they performed with him at the National Theatre on June 19 on the World Refugees Day organised by the UNHCR, where he stormed with Wogbe Dzeke and Demara.
