Ghanaian musicians EL, Cabum and Nero X have individually released music singles in memory of murdered soldier Maxwell Adams Mahama.
This comes after controversial Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, released a tribute song for the military officer, who was gruesomely murdered Monday at the Central Regional town of Denkyira-Obuasi.
Captain Mahama’s brutal murder has brought dark clouds across the country with some calling for a speedy prosecution of those found guilty of the barbaric act.
Capt. Mahama, a member of the 5th Infantry Battalion of the Ghana Armed Forces, was lynched and part of his body set ablaze while jogging at Denkyira-Obuasi at about 8:30am on Monday, May 29.
His murder has reignited calls for action to be taken to stem the tide on vigilantism and mob justice which has recently crept into the Ghanaian society, leading to the death of scores of innocent people.
