Afropop star, Eazzy, has released her much talked about single off her third album titled Ginger via social media.
The single which features francophone/ Ghanaian artiste, SK Blinks and produced by Masta Garzy is tangential from her usual style and "expected to appeal to listeners in neighbouring francophone countries".
The surprise in Eazzy's 'Ginger' is the similar beat and style as Nigerian Yemi Alade's hit single 'Johnny' which has made waves all over Africa and beyond. Coincidence or a production oversight?
Eazzy recently released two videos, "Unknown" and "Somethin Lost?" which has been accepted fairly by her fans judging per the number of views they have gained on Youtube.
Eazzy, real name Mildred Ashong, in an interview with Graphic Showbiz said 2015 was going to be packed with projects she would embark upon.
“Fans can expect more music that they are bound to love. I have been in the studio since last year working because I designated 2014 as my recording year.
“This was to improve on my ability and talent and also learn more musically. I am ready to feed my fans with all the good stuff I was working on in 2014,” she said.
The video for Ginger is not yet out but it is expected to incorporate some dance steps matching the francophone beats if the fans accept it anyway. Listen to 'Ginger' below:
