Ebo Whyte Back Again With “The Day Dad Came”

Roverman Productions, for the fourth (4th) and final quarter of this year presents its new and 12th play since 6th September 2008, written and directed by Uncle Ebo Whyte, “The Day Dad Came”.

The Day Dad Came On Ama’s birthday, her husband, Kofi, fails to wish her happy birthday but instead gets physically abusive with her over his missing mobile phone.

Unfortunately, the abuse is witnessed by Ama’s sister who in assisting to find the phone to save his sister from further abuse calls the phone only for the call to be picked by a girl called Candy.

This act of abuse and the discovery of who has the phone set a chain of events in motion that almost leads to the death of Kofi, shakes his own parents’ marriage and exposes Ama to the charm of handsome Joe who is out to seduce her.

The Day Dad Came explores the issue of abusive love relationships – why they happen; why people stay in them; and how to turn an abusive relationship around.
