Ebola Vaccine trial: Afia schwarzenegger blasts FDA

Controversial radio and television personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has chastised the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) for ordering Aflao to be used as the venue for the trial of a new vaccine.

The FDA officially gave an international pharmaceutical company the approval to commence Ebola vaccine trials in the country.

However, after several concerns raised by the citizenry, the Ministry of Health suspended the planned Ebola vaccine trials which was to take place at Hohoe in the Volta Region.

Afia Schwarzenegger in a Facebook post questioned why the FDA would not test monkeys with the vaccine instead of humans.
