Ever since Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng aka Ebony Reigns died, her father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng has been on a warpath with Bullet, late Ebony’s manager.
Nana Opoku Kwarteng has cited several reasons for the brouhaha but he has in a recent interview revealed the exact reason why he keeps colliding with Bullet.
According to Nana Opoku Kwarteng, he is fighting to ensure everything that is due his daughter goes to his daughter. He explained in a recent interview that his daughter worked very hard so he won’t sit and watch her labor go in vain.
Responding to a question from the host on GHONE TV as to why he keeps clashing with Bullet particular on money, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, Ebony Reigns’ father said:
“Everything I do is in the interest of my daughter”
“I’m only trying to get Nana Hemaa what she deserves. Everything I am doing today is in her interest because she worked so hard for this and it is my responsibility that her hard-work doesn’t be in vain,” Nana Opoku Kwarteng added.
Ricky Nana Agyemang aka Bullet, the CEO of Rufftown Records was the artist manager who discovered Ebony Reigns and nurtured her to success; And of course, Ebony worked hard to achieve the aim.
But ever since she perished in a gruesome car accident on 8th February 2018, her manager and her father have been fighting over every penny Ebony and keeps making including the proceeds from her tribute concert.
Nana Opoku Kwarteng claims Bullet is a cheat and has even threatened to sue him. In his defense, Bullet claims he has been charitable and has given the family more percentage on earnings than the contract even stipulates.
Rufftown Records has since released a statement washing its hands off all unreleased Ebony Reigns songs.
