YEN.com.gh has sighted a photo of dancehall star of the moment, Ebony Reigns, and Ghana’s number one rapper, Sarkodie on social media.

The picture seems to have been taken somewhere last year, owing to the caption accompanying it.

The ‘Sponsor’ hitmaker, Ebony posted this picture on her Instagram page with the caption: “TBT with King 1 #The Highest”.

It could be concluded, judging by the caption, that the two hard working Ghanaian musicians have been friends for some time; their pose in the photo also lends credence to this conclusion.

Ebony is captured with his right arm extended over Sarkodie’s right shoulder so that her hand rests on it.

While Ebony rests her arm on Sarkodie’s shoulder, she is seen smiling confidently.

Sarkodie, on the other hand, poses like the king Ebony has called him, looking straight into the camera as the shot was being taken.

We cannot say exactly what led to the taking of that shot, but some fans have hinted that they two could possibly be working on a collaboration together.

This would be a super hit song because that is what is to be expected from two heavyweight musicians coming together to produce a song.

Ebony, since she hit the music scene in 2015 with her first single ‘Dancefloor’ has collaborated with top artiste Shatta Wale, and other musicians, but she is yet to release any musical work with Sarkodie.

The year 2017 was indeed her most successful year so far as Ebony released hit upon hit songs.

The songs included ‘Hustle’, ‘Sponsor’, ‘Date your father’, ‘Poison’ and ‘Maame Hw3’.

She also won two major awards - ‘Artiste of the Year’ at the BASS Awards and also People’s Celebrity Awards by GN Bank.

Ebony beat top artistes including Becca, Stonebwoy, Mz Vee, Obaapa Christy, Samini, Diana Hamilton, others to win these awards.

She has hinted that her top expectation is to win the ‘Artiste of the Year’ at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
