Edem nominated for Black Canadian Awards 2015

CEO of Volta Regime Music Group (VRMG), Denning Edem Hotor popularly known by his stage name Edem has been nominated for the Black Canadian Awards 2015.

Nominated in the Best International Act, Africa category, Edem stands as the only Ghanaian to secure a nomination in this year’s awards celebration which holds on the 6th of June 2015 at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Theater, Toronto.

Edem stands opposition from Nigeria’s Yemi Alade, Davido, Oritse Femi, MafiKizolo from South Africa, Eddy Kenzo (Uganda) and Teeyah from Ivory Coast.

With a huge backing and a fast growing fans base across Africa, Edem’s latest critically acclaimed album Books and Rhymes has since its release won several awards including Afro-pop song of they year, Best Music Video of the year and Album of the year at the recently held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
