This year's event is expected to be bigger than last year's

African Legends Night is an annual event organized by Global Media Alliance (GMA) to celebrate African legends in the music industry. For the many years of its institution, highlife has been the preferred music genre due to how it easily connects us to our culture and makes us unique in the world of music. These legends perform with live band on one stage.
Every year, African Legends Night entertains thousands of fans with soothing, exciting, danceable African tunes. The event has played host to great music icons from Ghana as well as other African nations such as have included headliners; Ivorian Freddy Meiway, South Africa’s Yvonne Chaka Chaka. Hugh Masekela, Nigeria's Femi Kuti, Kanda Bongo Man from DR Congo, George Darko, Amakye Dede, Ben Brako, Ghanaian ace Saxophonist Steve Bedi, Wiyaala and many others.
The Ag. Managing Director for Westhills Ridge, Mr. Emmanuel Ansah Ofei expressed that “Eden Heights believes in indigeneity and therefore supports every activity that seeks to promote Ghana’s history for development. Our music plays a key role in telling the world our story”.
“It is important we do all we can to sustain it. And we believe acknowledging and celebrating our legends is one of the many ways in promoting history” he added.
The Chief Executive Officer for Global Media Alliance organizers of African Legends Night, Mr. Ernest Boateng says, "this year has something new and special. We are bringing the legends home because we want Ghanaians to own the event.
He further revealed that “two of our great Ghanaian legends that we have never seen on the same stage for many years will perform. Their fans have been asking for it and we want to give it to them on the platform of African Legends Night where we create a platform for our music legends and to have close interactions with their fans".
Westhills Ridge Company considers patrons of African Legends Night as its potential clients, and will, therefore, use this year’s platform to introduce Eden Heights to the public for the first time.
