Edith Maafo releases the official video of the track 'I overcome'

The words of the song are very encouraging and speak to those going through strife and immense pressure.

“I Overcome” is the second track on her outstanding debut Album “Bigger Better Greater” which is currently getting very good reviews in Ghana

“I Overcome” is also a declaration song, that revitalises our hope in times of challenges that appear to overwhelm us at times. The song charges us to look to Jesus in the midst of challenges and strife and to draw on the unwavering assurance of the word of God that we shall Overcome! -Isaiah 43:2.

The words of the song iterate that even though the mountains, storms and the attacks of the enemy threaten us, we shall Overcome in Jesus’ name and by the blood of the lamb.

This song like all the songs on the album has a powerful message and reaffirms Edith Maafo as a consummate songwriter and gospel minister.

The video directed by award winning film director Kofi Awuah is awesome with spectacular scenes of mountains, valleys and waterfalls and really carries the message of hope across. If God can feed and protect the wild animals of the field, then surely he has you in mind.
