Popular Hiplife/Afrobeat musician Raymond Eduwodzi, known in the showbiz circles as Eduwodzi has made copyright claims of Edem’s latest song “Nyedzilo” which features Nigerian Marvin star, Reekado Banks.
The Magnom produced Afrobeat song which was released two weeks ago sparked controversy on social media when Eduwodzi and some of his followers made claims of the song.
In a recent Facebook post, Eduwodzi ‘shamed’ rapper Edem and revealed that he first recorded a song titled “Nyedzilo” (which features Nigerian singer E-Fine) in the year 2010.
According to the “Yenko Nkoaa” hit maker, Edem’s song is a replica of his, considering the chorus, rhythm and title as well as featuring a Nigerian star.
The rapper wrote, “Nye dzi lo nye gbe" a song I recorded 2010 which I featured Nigeria artiste called E fine. Edem also did the same song and featured a Nigeria artiste. It's a BIG SHAME, How can you gust (guess) a song with the same words, same chorus same melody same title LOL.”
