Popular Ghanaian influencer, Efia Odo, has proudly embraced the 'Industry Machine' label given to her by Sista Afia, stating that she sees it in a positive light.
During a heated exchange on Twitter, Sista Afia labeled Efia Odo as an industry machine, implying she was seen merely as a pleasure tool for male artistes in the entertainment industry.
This led Sista Afia to release a diss track titled 'Industry Machine,' portraying Efia Odo in a derogatory manner.
However, speaking on UTV's United Showbiz hosted by MzGee, Efia Odo expressed her acceptance of the label and interpreted it positively.
"She called me an industry machine, and yes, I accept it. I am an industry machine, I make things happen. Just like a sex toy is a machine that fulfills desires some people can't satisfy, I move things in the industry. The phrase 'industry machine' has a positive connotation to it, and I genuinely love it. I am adopting it," she affirmed.
Regarding Sista Afia's diss track, Efia Odo commented, "She made her type of music, and I hope she profits from it. Her song wasn't a diss track; it's for dancing. I expected her to come at me harder."
Background
The conflict between Sista Afia and Efia Odo reignited when a Twitter user shared a provocative bikini photo of Sista Afia, sparking guesses about her identity. A Twitter influencer humorously suggested that the photo was of Efia Odo, which Efia found offensive. She responded angrily, demanding not to be disrespected in such a manner. 'Don't ever disrespect me like that again,' she wrote.
Sista Afia, displeased with Efia Odo’s reaction, retaliated with a harsh comment, calling her an "industry machine" and criticizing her for associating with various male artistes, particularly for promoting King Promise during the VGMAs.
