The tension that usually characterises election seasons makes it key that there are constant reminders on the need to exercise restraint during such times.
With just about a day left for Ghanaians to go to the polls, the call for peace cannot be complete if our entertainment personalities do not add their voice to send home a clear message to Ghanaians on the need to maintain peace before, during and after the elections.
Some celebrities Viasat 1 Entertainment spoke to, are appealing to Ghanaians not to mar the peace we have been blessed with, especially as we prepare to go out on Wednesday to cast our ballots. For them, when the peace in the country is destroyed, there will be no plaftform left to exhibit their individual talents and also no fans to perform to.
Akwaboah Jnr. is a young, talented musician whose song writing prowess has endured him into the heart of both the young and old. Believe it or not, he wrote ‘Daa Ke Daa’ for Becca as well as ‘Ayeyi Ndwom’ for DSP Kofi Sarpong. So you see! Akwaboah has also released a number of amazing tracks including ‘I Do Love You’ which gained international appeal.
