Empress Gifty is a Ghanaian gospel musician
Amid ongoing discussions about the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs), gospel musician Empress Gifty has revealed that she has several concerns about the awards scheme.
In a video shared on Instagram, the singer noted that there are many things she would like to say about the nominations.
However, Empress Gifty explained that despite her reservations, she prefers to remain silent to avoid backlash and social media trolling.
“This issue surrounding the TGMAs, if I were given the chance, I would say something. In fact, there are many things I want to say, but there’s a song that talks about how I could get into trouble if I do… I can’t say some of them,” she said.
