Ghanaian musician, Eno Barony
Multiple award-winning rapper Eno Barony, born Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom, has shared the secret of her longevity and consistency in the Ghanaian music scene.
Eno Barony, recently included in the list of the greatest rappers of all time in Ghana by Graphic Showbiz, shared her inspiration for her 10-year journey in the music industry.
She told Amansan Krakye in an interview, "From the onset, I had a vision of what I wanted to achieve in life, and even when I feel discouraged, I would look back and remember why I started in the first place.
"And it’s like life itself is a journey, so I don’t have to give up, and I have to keep going. So when I’m going and I get lost along the way, I come back to continue my journey," she added.
"That has been my secret. I just work hard, and the fans keep wanting more from me. I can’t let my fans down because someone who doesn’t know you from anywhere just loves you because of the voice you use.
"If the fans feel that this girl can make me happy, then I don’t have to disappoint them. That’s what keeps me going for the past ten years in the Ghanaian music space," she disclosed on the show.
