The weekend of July 29th is for Ghanafest 2006 in Chicago, IL and While Ghanafest is getting a huge spotlight, some Ghanaians in Worcester, MA are also putting together a huge gospel music concert dubbed; Unity In Christ Musical Concert. According to the organizers of the concert, Unity In Christ Musical Concert is an idea from a group of devoted christian brothers and sisters from various churches in Worcester, MA. They realized that there is the need for all Ghanaian churches in Worcester to come together once in a while, worship through gospel music, pray for our beloved country and also feel the brotherly love.

In the light of this cause, the free gospel musical concert on; JULY 29th, 2006 is happening at Wesley United Methodist Church, 114 Main Street, Opposite Crown Plaza Hotel and features two major artistes; Esther Smith and Edward Akwasi Boateng.

The event will attract musical groups from all the Ghanaian churches in Worcester, MA area and it is the first of it kind. Doors open at 8PM-2AM and once again, admission is free.

The Organizers of Unity In Christ Musical Concert are; Maxwell Danso Abiam, Ken Asafo Adjei , Clement Addae Anokye, Ransford Oppong and Akwasi Boakye.
