Ewuraba Eesi captivates audience at 2024 Western Music Awards

Ghanaian gospel artiste Angela Esi Ameyaw, known as Ewuraba Eesi, delivered a captivating performance at the 2024 Western Music Awards.

Accompanied by her band, the Eesian Band, Ewuraba Eesi showcased a series of her popular songs, demonstrating her compelling stage presence and musical talent.

Her performance was widely acclaimed, with many considering it the highlight of the event.

Ewuraba Eesi was honoured with the Most Popular Regional Song of the Year award for her chart-topping song "Nya Confidence," which has resonated with music enthusiasts and dominated the airwaves over the past year.

This prestigious accolade reflects her significant impact on the Ghanaian music industry.

During the awards ceremony held at the GPHA Auditorium on September 21, 2024, Ewuraba Eesi received the award from Mr. Wilson Arthur, the CEO of Skyy Media Group, in recognition of her outstanding achievement.

In her acceptance speech, she expressed gratitude to God, her team, family, and fans, highlighting her dedication to her faith and her appeal to the youth with the motto "The Eesians, we flex for Christ."

It is worth noting that Ewuraba Eesi was accompanied by her husband when she took the stage.

Despite being nominated in multiple categories, including Artiste of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year, Gospel Song of the Year, and Popular Regional Song of the Year with her song “Nya Confidence,” Ewuraba Eesi was particularly noted as the only female nominee for Artiste of the Year, ultimately won by SK Frimpong.
