Ex-Minister's Rice In Town

The ex-minister for foreign affairs, Mr Kwabena Osei-Adjei, the man for whose love Naana wanted to set the country abraze has done it again

He used a whopping $10m of our scarce foreign exchange to import rice from India, with the view of using it to buy votes for NPP in the 2008 elections

As luck would have it, the rice did not arrive in the country on time before NPP was kicked out of office. The bags of rice are now in various warehouses in accra awaiting government instructions. How the minister could by-pass the Ministry of Trade/Agriculture to import rice is what no one including the minister himself could explain

Lets not forget it was the same minister who used illegal methods to recruit families and cronies into the foreign ministry when he was about to exit office

A ban had since been placed on the recruitment exercise by the new government when the fraud was discovered

He was also one of the ministers holding on to state vehicles until the recent Okudzeto Ablakwa's fatwaa
